Climate School Math Tutor Opportunity

The Climate and Society program at the Columbia Climate School is seeking a math tutor to provide additional support for students enrolled in EESC 5400 and EESC 5401. The support should entail two open office hour sessions each week along with hours set aside for one-on-one sessions with students.

Qualifications:

  • The tutor needs to know and be able to teach algebra, exponential growth, and basic physics
  • Ideal candidate will also have a strong background in statistics and R-programming skills


Eligibility:
  Current Columbia graduate students are eligible to apply. Applicants should be able to work 8-10 hours per week with the possibility of increasing hours depending on need.

Compensation: $22/hour
