Arizona meteorite hunters released from Omani arrest

I got home tonight just in time to catch a story on Tucson's KVOA channel 4 about two Arizona meteorite hunters, Michael Farmer and Robert Ward, who were arrested in Oman for illegal 'mining' and each held "25 days in an interrogation center in an 8 foot by 8 foot cement cell with a blanket on the floor" before being sentenced to 6 months in prison. A legal appeal and help from the US Embassy
