Summary:
A new open access journal in the earth and environmental sciences, Elementa: Science of the Anthropocene, was recently announced and will begin accepting submissions in April 2013. The journal will publish research on "the Earth?s physical, chemical, and biological systems; interactions between human and natural systems; and steps that can be taken to mitigate and adapt to global change."
