Volutomorpha mutabilis Gastropod Fossils
These fossils appear to be
Volutomorpha mutabilis
gastropods (named by Wade 1926). They existed during the Cretaceous Period (about 70 million years ago). This fossil was found in McNairy County, Tennessee (Coon Creek Formation).
